Meet our Minister

My name is Charles Rix, and I am the Minister for the Monmouth Church of  Christ.  My role is to bring lessons that will enable members to hear the Word of God and practically apply it to their lives.  I am principally dedicated to encouraging and equipping this family to walk more fully in all that Jesus wants us to become. One of the ways we grow closer to the Lord is through listening to the scriptures and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us in our walk.  Our Sunday Bible Classes and Worship times as well as our many mid-week fellowship and study times provide opportunities for such growth.  Why not take full advantage of them?

As I am also a classical pianist, I am involved in teaching music.  The study of music and art is much like a spiritual journey, in that it brings up to the point of understanding ourselves and those around us.  Occasionally, I will give concerts or lectures where I explore God's creation of music, and how an understanding of music, and our use of music in worship can draw us closer to him.

I also serve as one of the Shepherds of this congregation, therefore, my door is always open for prayer, private Bible studies, counseling, or to discuss any other matters of a personal or spiritual nature you might have.  So stop by any time!
