Our outgoing minister, Matthew Dowling, is currently transitioning to a new church in Plymouth, Michigan as he prepares to begin his doctoral studies there next year in Church History. He will continue preaching though, and has been called as the new preaching minister for the Plymouth Church of Christ. If you would like to follow his preaching ministry there, you can visit their website. You can also follow his writing ministry over at his blog.

With Matthew departing, we have hired an intentional interim minister. His name is Reagon Wilson. He is a familiar presence at Monmouth Church; he served as the minister of this church for 14 years, from 1980-1994. Most recently, Reagon and his wife Rachel have been serving the International Church of Lucerne in Switzerland. They also do have experience in helping several churches during their times of transition, which make them a perfect fit for us in the role of an intentional interim minister.

Lord willing, Reagon will begin in August after he finishes his obligation to the church in Switzerland. This summer beginning in June, Mason Lee, who is a doctoral student in homilectics at Princeton Theological Seminary, has graciously agreed to preach the word of God. We thank you for your prayers during this time of transition.
